While in Nicaragua, our team will be participating in several mission activities. We are traveling to an area that hasn't seen a lot of outreach yet as far as people going in and sharing the Gospel. Please pray that the people will be receptive to hearing God's Word. Also, please pray for our team and that God will use us to share His message. Noah will be preaching several times and teaching the Baptist Faith and Message to local pastors and church leaders. So, please pray for him and the people he will be speaking to. Our entire time will be leading four different Vacation Bible Schools. Two will be in a church, one will be in a school, and one will just be out on the streets! We will have games, music, and of course a Bible story and Gospel presentation. Please pray for the children, that they will have open hearts and minds. Please pray that God gives us the words to say to share His message with these precious children! I (Page) will be teaching a couple of women's Bible studies, so please pray for the women that will be there. Pray that God will speak to these ladies so that they hear an encouraging message and know they are loved by The King! We will also be doing door to door evangelism. Pray that God will open doors and hearts to hearing His Word!
We're all getting last minute packing and preparations ready and our team is so excited about this new journey to a place where none of us have been before. We are praying for good health, safe travel, and most importantly, many people to be discipled and saved!
Today at LBC, our Nicaragua prayer calendar was sent out in the worship guide. I will post our prayer calendar below so that all of our friends everywhere will know how they can specifically pray each day. I think I can speak for the entire team when I say how grateful we are to have so many people who have supported this trip and who are praying for us! Most of all, we are thankful for a loving God who has called us to go to this new place. We know He will provide everything we need to share the Gospel in Nicaragua! We can't wait to see the amazing things that God is going to do next week!
